This week’s Tuesday Textile showcases Knoll Textile’s Marquee in Breeze, a large scale geometric pattern, available in seven colorways. Marquee was designed by Knoll Textile’s creative director Dorothy Cosonas who was influenced by the work of late American artist and designer Vera Neumann. This modern, bold textile is part of the Stitch Collection, the 2012 Best of Neocon Gold winner for upholstery, that was inspired by stitching and embroidery techniques as well as fashion. With a 40,000 double rub rating and optional Nanotex finish and Durablock backing this medium to heavy-weight fabric can be used in multiple upholstery applications.
