The office relocation required a substantial amount of strategic space planning in order to achieve the client’s vision and provide functional flexibility for their staff. In close collaboration with the client and Rinka Chung Architecture, Corporate Design Interiors created a modernized space that would foster autonomy and aid in the attraction and retention of a talented, diverse workforce.
While relocation was the initial step towards an adaptable and modernized office environment, it was critical that architectural and furniture finishes chosen for PMA Financial’s new space maximize both square footage and function. Glass walls lining private offices and low panel heights throughout workstations and focus areas allow for natural light to flood through the space. Offering a cohesive assortment of collaboration tables and seating options with integrated technology capabilities provide employees with both autonomy and mobility, while modern upholstery with modest patterns and bright pops of color maintain a classic aesthetic and boost creativity. Through meticulous planning and client collaboration, CDI helped to shape a fresh, flexible work space for PMA Financial that provides the tools for maximum productivity and will grow alongside them in years to come.
