Healthcare Design and Contract magazines, in partnership with the Center for Health Design, take time out of the Healthcare Design Expo + Conference to present the winners of the annual Nightingale Awards. Named after Florence Nightingale, these prestigious awards recognize new products and their contribution to the healthcare built environment. Exhibited products are evaluated by a jury panel of seasoned healthcare architects, interior designers and facility members, who then make selections based on functionality, quality, durability, style and aesthetics, and pricing.
The KORE Work Cart by Kimball was honored with a 2018 Nightingale Award for product innovation and excellence in the furniture, clinician support category. Designed by Daniel Korb, the KORE Work Cart is a mobile workstation that provides versatile functionality to both individual and collaborative work. Clinical spaces require furniture pieces like the KORE Work Cart that are able to continuously evolve alongside them, creating a fluid workspace through integrated power, ergonomic adjustments and other customizable features.
“Healthcare is undergoing the most extreme transformational shift in a century. We are meeting this shift by pushing boundaries and embedding principles of adaptability, flexibility and mobility in our products and are thrilled that the KORE Work Cart was recognized with a Nightingale Award, one of the most prestigious awards for innovation in the healthcare industry.”
